Beginner Level

A class for people with little or no prior experience in any physical discipline. At this level, our contact with the floor is a relationship we explore throughout most of the class, with the aim of becoming familiar with it and using it as a tool within the context of guided improvisational or structured exercises, choreographed material, and strengthening through intensive exercises or play. At the same time, our goal is to become familiar with the large-scale use of space and air. Particular emphasis is placed on preparing for gentle acrobatics and

integration of all these elements into our dance with control and active awareness.

Intermediate/Advanced Level

The class is intended for individuals with prior experience in similar

contemporary dance technique classes.

The level and structure of the class are determined by the participants’ abilities. Some knowledge of basic technique is required so that we can delve into flow, speed, shifts in dynamics, and the relationship with other bodies

in the space. The class includes an intensive warm-up and strengthening through exercises and guided improvisation, structured technical exercises, and the learning of choreographed material. The class is open to all levels, with the aim of exchanging information, practicing adaptation to different speeds, and

observation.

The common goal of the classes is to practice observing how we direct

our attention toward our bodies, without losing our sense of shared space. Through the course process, we begin to redefine our boundaries and embark on a journey of change and the achievement of personal goals. At the same time, emphasis is placed on openness toward the group and team empowerment. Each person brings their own unique personality, contributing to the creation of a safe space where connection, free expression,

and trust are encouraged. We get to know our bodies, the space, and the people we share the group with, using

movement as our common language.
