Welcome to a dive into contemporary dance and improvisation! A
class for those who don't want to take a class but want to try, to discover and explore their kinetic communication through the coexistence of imagination and dance. Kinetic patterns with tasty music for warm-ups, dreamy scores and traveling kinetic combinations, fragrant memories and active senses in a dance interplay in space and time. A lesson in dance reminiscences and moving dreams!
Open level : This class is for anyone who wishes to co-move, co-create and co-exist through movement.

Marianna Panourgia is a teacher of contemporary dance. She graduated from the Higher Professional School of Dance 'Rallou Manou' in 2009. She continued her studies, completing with honours a postgraduate degree in Dance Anthropology and is a Lecturer in Contemporary Dance (Academy of Music and Dance - University of Limerick, Ireland). Since 2009, he has been teaching Contemporary Dance in private schools, studios, secondary & post-secondary education. As a performer she has participated in performances, dance festivals, and in the 2nd & 4th Athens Biennale. In addition, she has attended numerous seminars in contemporary dance technique and repertoire (A.Khan, W.Forsythe, W.Vandekeybus, H.Shechter D. Zambrano etc.), Contact Improvisation, choreography etc., in Greece and abroad. She is an active researcher in the field of ethnographic documentation of contemporary dance education in Greece. She regularly participates as a lecturer in dance conferences (DSA, CORD, CID, ICTM etc.) and educational programs in movement and dance (IDOCDE, Lace#1, ImpulsTanz Festival etc.).Finally, she has written articles in the academic journal 'Kinesiology' and dance magazine 'Tanecni Actuality'.
